This 1946 Crams is a superb example of one of these globes. Noting distances in Statute Miles and even noting Estimated Bomber and Transort cruising speeds. On the horizon ring is listed miles, degrees and times to assit the user in these calculation.
The Political borders displayed; French Indochina, Baluchistan (becomes Pakistan in 1947), Siam (changed from Thailand in 1946), Trans Jordon is shown, Palestine and Israel or listed (negotiations?), Tanganyika is listed (1946-61), No E&W Germany or N&S Korea both divided in 1949
The condition of the globe is remarkable! Free of dents, scratches, soiling, holes or tears! In Like New condition with only the paper Time Dial missing and a felt piece at the bottom grommet missing. The stand and horizon ring have only the most minimal of soiling.
