Made with bulky yarn (Gauge: 6.75 sts = 4inches in Stockinette Stitch, I used the fabulous Knit Collage Gypsy Garden, more info at knitcollage.com) on large needles using short rows.
A quick fun knit on US 17 straight needles, with the small brim knit on a US 15 circular needle (16" or 24").
