The actual verse goes as follows: "Love can free us from all excess / from our deepest debts / 'cause when our hearts are full we need much less." I was struck by that verse and listened to its simple call to contentment over and over. This piece was born out of that.
Oh -- and what's in my heart? Apparently things like Jesus, cupcakes, music, and owls, amongst other things.
