I name this testing the waters because I love dabbling and mixing old with new. The old has such fine quality in just about everything including workmanship - I just love it. New because sometimes with my eyes, things should be brought up to date, given a new life or simply because I see it in an entirely different perspective.

So, besides my lingerie you see a different side of me. I am a true romantic. I do not like destroying vintage or collectible jewelry to recreate something.

This bird was a brooch and still is a brooch. However, she was missing stones and much of her paint was missing. I touched her paint up - trying to match her original colors and added some stones. I just saw one is missing, so I will add another there too ;)

She is soo pretty! I created a hand wired strand of fresh water pearls and swarovski crystals in coordinating pink tones, yet the crystals are clear. Finished with a heart shaped toggle clasp.

This is a one of a kind piece of art.
