I'm offering a custom made authentic Regency bonnet in three lovely styles dating from 1800 -1810 to choose from. All you need to do is send me your fabric choice and trimmings and let me know with your order which style you'd like and how you'd like it trimmed and I will create it for you.
The bonnets styles availible are -
Design A (1st + 2nd photo) Dated 1800-1810. A classic regency bonnet with small flared brim and puffed crown similar to that favoured by Jane Austen herself.
Design B - (3rd + 4th photo) as above with a deeper flared brim framing the face, a very pretty and flattering style. The best option for the the iconic regency look.
Design C (5th photo) Dated 1795- 1808. A close fitting bonnet with brim narrowing at the centre and full puffed crown. This style looks lovely with a contrast binding. A nice style for the cooler months with its close fitting brim, looks lovely with the sharp lines of winter wear and military styling.
The brims are stiffened with wired buckrum to keep the shape. The bindings, lining and all the trims will be sewn by hand. Constructions seams will be sewn by machine ensuring your bonnet has the durability of modern items but with all visible stitching inside and out done by hand making it ideal for historical re-enactment.
All styles will be made in your choice of fabric and trimmed with ribbons, flowers, feathers, rossettes, lace or contrast binding as per your design. Feel free to send me sketches or copies of fashion plates or paintings your inspired by.

I may be able to recreate some my previously sold orders so do feel free to ask if there is something you particularly like.
You will require -
3/4yd Fashion fabric - I recommend heavy satins such as Duchess or Acetate, Taffetta, Silk Dupion/Shantung or watered silks. Medium wieght cottons can also be used.
3/4 yd lining - this can be a cotton, calico or a satin lining or habotai silk.
3 yd of 2" wide ribbon silk or satin
Any trims you would like flowers, feathersetc. A contrast satin bias binding would require 1 1/2 yds. Please allow extra ribbon if you would like rossettes.
I can also make a matching drawstring reticule for £10. This would require a further 1/4yd of your fashion fabric and 1 1/2yds of 1/4" ribbon. If you would like a reticule please convo me and I will create a reserved custom listing for you including the bonnet and reticule priced together.
I will contact you as soon as I have recieved your fabric. Please allow up to 2 weeks for me to create your bonnet. I am happy to accomadate express orders. If your in a hurry and have something particular in mind dont hesitate to ask as I may have just what your looking for in stock.
Your bonnet will be sent to you wrapped in tissue paper in a strong postal box suitable for storing your bonnet in at home.
