This handcrafted original pendant is hung from a black metal chain, ready for the natural bohemian at heart. The polymer clay pendant was imprinted with a leaf design & painted with acrylics to enhance the texture. I make a web like design using thread that is criss crossed to create a bold & eye catching masterpiece. This thread web was snugly fit into the pendant's center cutout. A polymer clay backing was applied to the back of the thread web to hold in place & then filled with a clear resin. The pendant has a slight curve which adds interest & reminds me of a broken piece of china. Hung from a black metal chain, this necklace is the perfect combination of materials & textures, making this a truly unique & wearable piece of art.
