This board is on reserve for Pam and Jon's wedding registry. Please include a note to the newlyweds at checkout, and I will let them know of your purchase. Thanks.

This wild serving tray features a short section of natural edge and a generously sized hole that will allow you to hang it in your kitchen or dining area when not in use. Waves of seemingly three-dimensional figure wash across surfaces streaked with color from rose to straw to coffee. A small cracked knot adds character to this rustic server. This board would be perfect for serving cheese or appetizers at your next gathering of family or friends. It would NOT be suitable for regular use as a cutting board.

This single piece of solid hardwood measures approximately 12" x 10" x 5/8" at its widest points. It has been finished with a food-safe blend of beeswax and mineral oil. Care instructions (also available in my shop policies http://www.etsy.com/shop_policy.php?user_id=9406401 ) are included.

Bigleaf maple (Acer macrophyllum) is common up and down the West Coast of the United States, but figured wood with this much character is rare. All lumber for my projects is salvaged from industrial logging operations, backyards, or storm damaged areas.

Red Onion Woodworks boards are appealling because of their unique grain patterns and organic shapes. These characteristics are a result of what some would consider defects in the tree. Please be aware that wood as a natural material can be prone to slight changes in plane and fine cracking due to fluctuations in climate conditions. I am confident that the product you will receive is structurally sound and with proper care, should endure normal household conditions without negative effects on its performance or beauty.

At this time, I am not taking on custom orders, wholesale orders, or selling raw wood. Sorry.

Feel free to send me a convo if you have further questions or need more information. See more of my cutting boards and serving trays at http://www.RedOnionWoodworks.etsy.com.
