The traditional King Cake consists of a freshly baked round or oval cake decorated with bright purples, golds and green. Beautiful and delicious! Each cake also contains a prize which will bestow a year's worth of good luck on the recipient of the lucky slice. The most common known prize is a plastic baby - whomever finds the baby finds a year of good luck (especially if they manage to not swallow it!)
Our take on the King Cake is by starting out with a freshly "baked" Lemon Poundcake scented bundt cake, individually sized. It is beautifully decorated with purple, gold and green glitter and edible decoration (although we don't recommend eating it!) No King Cake would be complete without a plastic baby in the cake, guaranteeing the lucky recipient of our handcrafted delight a year of luck!
Beautifully packaged, complete with a festive handmade Mardi Gras gift tag - these make wonderful gifts and favors. What a unique and fun way to share in the celebration (and not do anything you'll regret in the morning!)
