I am drawn to genuine fabric from the 30’s and forties - an era when things were precious, saved, mended and re used. Strong, made to last cotton was washed many times and never discarded.
My softies are born from these like the children who may have played in the clothes, or wore the buttons the day they met their true love.
Some of the softies were featured in Stampington's Stuffed magazine this year so they think they are famous. They have a taste for travel now too, and will arrive as a brown paper package tied up with string.
Tenderly will stand about 8 inches weighs very little.
