I love to collect beautiful insects - dragonflies, bees, cicadas, butterflies, moths, praying mantis.....but they are just too fragile for a gal to wear! Instead, this necklace has a gorgeously rendered brass insect wing - I think a cicada, but perhaps a dragonfly? It measures 14x41mm and is textured on the reverse side as well. It has been adorned with a Czech glass snail shell bead measuring 16x14mm and in a pale green opal color finish with copper colored details. An olive Swarovski crystal bead and a faceted tuquoise bead hang as well. Hangs from a 20" brass chain and is finished with a brass lobster clasp.
