vintage late 70s or early 80s ruffled schoolgirl blouse. lightweight cotton shirting in a classic black/red/yellow plaid. high ruffled neckline, bib front with ruffles coming down each side. black flowers shaped buttons from the neck across the shoulder and down the side ruffle. puffed full sleeves with ruffled and tapered cuffs. gently fitted at the waist with a straight cut hem intended to be tucked-in. pantree label. totally versatile - it can look preppy, schoolgirl, victorian or boho depending on what you pair with it.

vintage size 12 best fits modern small-medium (shown on an xsmall).

excellent condition! the bottom button is just plain and does not match the flower buttons, but that was common in shirts that were meant to be tucked in.
