My pearl ring is a continuation of my experiments combining organic and industrial forms and elements. This fine silver and copper ring is a one of a kind. The band is made from PMC metal clay. I fired the band flat, and then hammered it and shaped the ends into a flowing design. The copper dish is hand cut, hammered and shaped, and then I riveted a white pearl to it. The band and dish are soldered together, but it kind of looks like the dish is balanced on the silver.
The ring is a size 8, but because of the shape of the band, it will comfortably fit up to a size 8.5. Artist stamped on the inside.
