This is a beautiful freehand embroidered oak leaf headband made of shimmery silver silk dupioni with grey embroidered veining. Each leaf is individually embroidered by me and therefore one of a kind! I create my leaves by using my sewing machine as a drawing tool, and I "draw" the leaf and all the veins with thread onto the fabric. It's a little piece of fiber art you can wear!

The leaf is hand stitched onto a wool felt tube that attaches to the headband- I make these headbands in such a way that the position of the leaf is adjustable & removable. The headband is a slim, minimalist black band with steel tips, that is bendable for maximum comfort on your head.

Perfect for adding a bit of woodsy, nature girl charm to your outfit!
