This original One-of-a-kind Art Doll has been hand-sculpted from polymer clay {Fimo} over a very strong wire armature for strenght.
No moulds were used during her creation and no moulds were taken from her.
Her eyes are handmade by me with translucent crystal irises.
Her skin is the natural colour of the clay just lightly blushed to bring out natural skin tones.
The skin painting and face features are detailed with Genesis oil paints.
The wigging is made from hand-dyed sheep hair applied lock by lock.
Her hair is decorated with real sea-shells, crystals, dried seaweed and microbeads.
Her tail has been hand-painted with Genesis oil paints, the fins and wings are made with fantasy film and wires. The wings are removable for a safer shipment.
She measures 5" tall in her sitting position.
A "mermaid seat" is included which is made from clay and sea-shells and decorated with sand beach. It measures 3.5" width. The mermaid is attached to the seat.
This beautiful creation comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
