She wears a hand dyed pale lavender crepe paper skirt with a pink crepe paper waistband. She is also embellished with two metallic pink Dresden buttons, and carries a bunch of three flowers in amethyst, pink, and pale yellow. I have tea stained her entire body to give her an antique appearance, and completed her with a reproduction Victorian paper scrap face.
This spun cotton Victorian girl ornament is ready to hang from your Christmas tree or shabby chic style feather tree - or wherever you imagine her. She is approximately 4" tall, and will come to you signed and dated.
Spun cotton is a craft that dates back to the late 1800s with origins in Germany. I enjoy keeping the tradition alive for fellow collectors of this unique art form.
