Delightfully earthy and visually appealing are the best ways to describe these sprouts. Mung and Adzuki can be sprouted to a variety of stages, depending on your preference. Sprout in a mason jar or sprouter for just a few days, allowing the beans to sprout a small 1/4" sprout, then harvest. At this stage, the sprouts are a great addition to lots of raw dishes including dips and salads.
Let the sprout grow a few days longer, under pressure and without light and you'll have juicy, plump sprouts that are ready for a stir fry. I sell these at the Seaside Farmer's Market and my customers are often seen snacking on the little sprouts as they wander the market.
Full instructions included with each package of seed.
These seeds are for growing your own healthy and yummy sprouts. Growing your own sprouts is very easy and rewarding. Without dirt or sunlight, you can have a fresh and continuous supply of nutritious sprouts at your fingertips. Start growing your own with a 32 oz. wide mouth mason jar, a rubberband, and a piece of tulle or cheesecloth. This 8 oz. package of dry seeds will yield approximately 1-1 1/2 lb. of sprouts. Use 1/4 - 1/2 c. of seed per jar to start.
Because I also grow sprouts and sell at my local farmer's market every weekend, all my sprout seed is continuously rotated and personally tested by me throughout the year. For obvious reasons, I only sell seed that has excellent germination rates. Buy with confidence!
