We smoothed all the edges so that it will not catch on your shawl.
The pin measures about 2 -2 1/4" (5-5.7cm) long and about 1 5/8" (4.2cm) across the widest part. The stick pin part with the spiral on top that slips through the main design to secure the pin is about 2 7/8" (7.3cm) long.
You can gently bend the outer edges of the main piece to create a looser or tighter fit with the pin.
It can be worn as a brooch too!
All our jewelry comes wrapped in colorful tissue paper, in a nice gift box and tied with a bow ready for gift giving.

This is a small sized pin and might work well in your hair if you are only using it on a small amount of hair like when you pull the front pieces back.
It is often hard to know if a hair accessory will work well for your particular type of hair without trying it on first. If our pins don't work well for you after you purchase them just let us know and we can easily work out a refund or exchange.
The pin in the pictures is a representative pin and not the exact same one that you will receive. We hand make each pin and try hard to make them look the same. There may be some minor differences but the one you will receive will look very similar to the one you see in the pictures.
The copper wire used in this pin is in it's natural form and not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxides over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny.
Here are some suggestions for how to shine up your copper jewelry using common household supplies like lemon juice or ketchup:

Tarn-X works great too.
