Shibori is a Japanese tie dye technique, and each of the dots on this fabric would have been tied separately for this effect. My mom is a fiber artist and her wonderful stash of Japanese fabrics not only inspired my Fiber series, but also supplied the fabrics for them. Thanks mom!
The bezel is backed with copper that has been oxidized, stamped with my initials, and waxed to preserve the patina. This pendant hangs from a 1.5mm sterling silver bead chain, 16" long. The pendant is 1" diameter.

You will want to avoid getting the pendant wet, as the fabric is not coated.
