Time and time again we throw ourselves into the arena of Love. We endure the pitfalls and elations with equal enthusiasm. The inevitable breaking of our heart each time leads to a time of healing. We mend ourselves by filling up the voids with more beauty, with new experiences and wonderment. What was once an untried and emotionally monochromatic symbol in our days of youth have developed into a complex and beautifully structured representation of our lifes loves.
While love ebbs and flows, and we may have our hearts broken, we ourselves are not broken.
My patchwork hearts were inspired by the women in my life.
Made from clear, textured glass fragments and one color piece, patched together by decorative silver-toned solder.
This puffy heart uses a bit of deep red blue glass and 3 bits of clear textured glass (each one different.)
Measures 3 ¾” wide and 3 ¼” long.
Has 2 loops attached to hang this in your window from clear thread or a bold ribbon.
If you’d like a special color, let me know…I’ve had my heart broken many times. I may have a piece to loan you for your special patchwork heart.
I hate shipping fees as much as you do... So I’ve decided to charge a very small amount and include insurance. Standard time is 7 days to receive your item. If you need it faster let me know...we can work it out together.
**********I use a 60/40 solder in all of my window charms. That's 60% lead, 40% tin. This is an industrial standard of lead based solder used commonly in art glass windows. It poses no risk unless the entire object is ingested... so my advice would be to please don't swallow this. It would hurt like heck coming out....********
