Who's Joseph Henry?
Joseph Henry was an American scientist who's work centered around the field of electromagnetism. Henry, and his work, was held in high regard by his peers. His work played a major role in later discoveries and inventions including the elctrical telegraph(Samuel Morse). Henry later went on to found the National Institute for the Promotion of Science and he served as the first Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution.
This multi-colored design features a bold black image of Henry in the foreground sporting a cyan bowtie(it was all the rage back in the day) set against a grey concrete textured background. Henry is surrounded by 'seeds of great discoveries' in shades of cyan, magenta, and grey. Henry reminds us that greatness is all around us, we just need to be prepared to recognize it.
