The beads are approximately 6mm in diameter and 3-4mm in length. You will receive **29** YELLOW (actually a mustard color) beads from the strands shown in the photos.
Trade beads are true to their name. They were an important part of currency used in trade between Africans and Europeans. The Europeans loaded their ships with beads and "trinkets", among them these beads, and traded them in Africa for gold, coffee and natural resources. The trade started in the 1500's.
