Start with a well seasoned mesquite log from a wind fallen tree and turn it on an industrial size lathe and voila! you have an attractive lamp. Simple, right.

Mesquite is a very dense and heavy hardwood but is limited for furniture use do to the common defects in the wood. This however is part of its natural beauty and adds interest in a piece like this.

You will enjoy the hand crafted quality seen in the faint tool marks left since it was not sanded thus the wood retains depth to the grain that just pops.

Complements white oak, ash, and, walnut very well. Shade is white (not off white). Linseed oil and pine resin finish.

This is the exact lamp you will get that is shown in the photos.

Other shapes and sizes to come!
