This journal is made to order. It will ship out within 3-5 days from date of purchase
The outer cover is a replica of a vintage butterfly print from the 1920s
The inner covers are lined with velvet paper
160 (approx) pages of white paper bound with black linen thread in a variation of exposed coptic binding
The pages are directly stitched to the exposed spine and are sewn intentionally so the journals will fan out and easily set upright for display. If you wish for them to close, simply fasten them shut with the accommodating ribbon. Overtime, the journals will naturally close flat
Pages will lay flat for easy writing/markmaking and will accommodate lefties and righties
Measuring 2.75" x 4" x .75", this journal may easily tuck into a small bag or pocket, though please be sure to protect the delicate binding by wrapping in cloth first
All steps in the creation of this journal were approached the old world way using hand tools: awl, needle & thread, ruler, bone folders, manual hole punch & a steel blade. Made with careful consideration for the environment and lots of love slipped between the covers
