Frederick is made of muslin that has been coffee stained and then thoroughly fine-sanded to give him the patina of an old and worn antique doll. His pants are made of a rich olive-brown colored calico fabric that has been coffee stained to make the fabric appear aged. Frederick is also adorned with two old and worn antique buttons that I found in an antique shop in rural Eastern Ontario, Canada.
I created Frederick's head using a Victorian era rabbit image that is printed on cardstock and mounted onto chipboard to make his head and neck sturdy. His face shows both from the front and from the back. Frederick also has a small loop of string behind his shoulders that you can use to hang him up, if you wish. He also likes to sit in a prim manner and think about very serious things. Frederick measures 16" tall from the tips of his ears from the bottoms of his toes, and 5" wide across his waistline. He will arrive to you signed and dated.
