In the example above, each figure is hand cut from beautiful cartography - the maps show the place in the world where each person spent their childhood.
You can take the boy out of ???????? but you can't take the ???????? out of the boy.
Each piece will of course be different, I will always choose the best map for the job. The scale and colour may vary but the exact location will always feature just above the heart of each figure. Figures are raised above the surface of the paper to give a nice depth.
The piece will come to you in a white wood shadow box measuring 23cm x 18cm (outer dimensions of the frame) which can be either freestanding or hung.
