Vintage rayon cummerbund

From StrumpetsBazaar

Vintage rayon cummerbund of lovely weight and quality in black. Pleated detailing to front. It is lined in cream and has adjustable elastic with silver toned catch and slider. There is a label saying "Rayon ACKO Regd Made in England" with a size tag which reads 30-33. There is also a small elastic loop on the inner of the cummerbund. In good condition.

Always a bit difficult to date classic gentlemens' items but I would say 1950s or 1960s judging by the quality of the fabric and the style of the label.

Measurements:
The total length of it including elastic is just over 34"
The total length of the fabric component is 23"
The depth of the cummerbund at its deepest point (centre front) is 4.5"
The elastic is adjustable.
