I have never seen a vintage cameo brooch like this one. Truly unique, it is comprised of 7 individual cameos in shades of lavender and mauve to cream.
There are some tiny chips on three of the cameos which are mounted in what appears to be a brass setting.
The brooch belonged to my husband's late grandmother who collected Victorian era antiques. It likely dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s - and the cameos appear to be shell, but could be stone. Three of the cameo ladies are repeated in style, with the center cameo different from the rest. Although not flawless, it is a lovely piece!
