Premium burlap with chalk cloth labels are perfect for personalizing or customizing over and over again.
Brides and event planners are loving these for table numbers, Groomsmen's gift, welcome gifts for those special OOT's, and even party favor thank you gifts,
FOOD & WINE magazine recommended them for holiday gift giving (Holiday 2010 issue).
And we suggest using them to host a wine tasting party to celebrate the grape, toast the winemaker and nourish friendship. And in particular, we love the fun of a blind tasting. But the nectar of Dionysus is worthy of more than a brown paper sack.
These bottle bags are carefully crafted from my premium, all natural jute fabric (think burlap but with a tighter weave and more refined look) with a label (3.25” x 2.5”) of the most wonderful chalk cloth so you can ID the mystery bottles, address the gift recipient or post a seasonal message. Use chalk or Chalk Markers as I prefer, and yes, they wipe clean for use over and over again, the ultimate in living green and great! Be sure to check out the photos in my other bag listings for more creative uses.
Your bags will be shipped with black herringbone weave ribbons to secure the necks, but certainly you may substitute your own ribbon that more closely matches your festivities. Or, as in some of my pictures, just turn down the neck to your desired height and conceal those mass-produced bud vases we are all too familiar with.
This set of 8 is perfect for a larger gathering for a blind wine tasting where you would you would need 2 bottles of the same wine.
Need a different quantity than 8? You should find listing for 1, 4, 6, 8 and 12 bags. I am happy to post a custom listing in any quantity you need. My pricing schedule is as follows and the bottle bags and party sacks can be combined for a total to determine your price.
1 - 3 6.00 ea.
4 - 7 5.00 ea.
8 - 11 4.50 ea.
12 - 23 4.25 ea.
24 or more 4.00 ea.
The Etsy ordering system will NOT alter the price on the fly. To get the best price, you must purchase a listing of your total quantity. Any questions, don't hesitate to convo me.
Approximately 11.50-inches tall and 3.50 inches in diameter, they are sized perfectly for wine bottles, but are great for disguising those very sad bud vases that mainstream florists insist on using and seem to mysteriously clone on our pantry shelves.
Of course, because I am very persnickety about construction, seams are serged and the base is understitched to assure a smooth bottom. After all, the plan is to taste the wine, not spill it.
If you would like to add a chalk marker, look for them listed in my “Extras” section:
