Perhaps with the help of this bracelet, you'll finally take on that elusive hobby or be empowered to concur of that previously hopeless garage… Either way, wearing a Byzantine Chainmaille bracelet is like wearing a piece of history.
The pattern Byzantine was one of the first Chainmaille patterns invented, its origins are not known but it dates back to somewhere near 300 BC which is pretty amazing.
HOW I MADE IT: I made this bracelet using essentially the same process as Chainmaille' originators did 1,300 years ago. I start out with raw wire, then I form and cut each link by hand. Once I've carefully created my links, I build each one of my creations by hand one link at a time, using two pairs of pliers and a boatload of couch-hours.
WHAT'S IT MADE FROM?: I made this bracelet from my thick and chunky 16 gauge Stainless Steel.
