5 antique bone buttons that had been dyed shades of brown, common during the civil war era, strung on dark brown leather. I've tied two sliding knots on the leather so that it can be adjusted from choker-length to about 24" as seen in the last photo.
Perfect with a t-shirt and jeans or a dress and boots.
Bone was one of the first materials for making buttons. These have been dyed by someone in their history, lending them a beautiful brown color similar to wood.
Your necklace will come safely packed in a small pillow box of recycled content and tied up with jute.
