This painting is part of a series of black and white celebrity portraits I have started featuring old Hollywood actors and actresses. I chose to do these portraits in black in white so these celebrities were highlighted in the way they were often seen and portrayed; black and white film.
This is a piece inspired by her beauty and grace in the classic roles such as "Cleopatra" and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf". Meant for someone who loved these movies, this actress or perhaps just classic films.
This painting will look good in any room, with any color. A great piece for an office or library, a living room or den.
