White stoneware bowl was hand-thrown and trimmed, while the birdies were sculpted from little pieces of porcelain clay. I glazed this bowl in a classic robins egg blue, and the birdies in a clear white. The glazes are Food-safe and the bowl is microwave/dishwasher/oven safe;but as all handmade items would prefer the extra care of hand washing. Fired to cone 6 (2232 degrees F)in my electric kiln.
This is the ultimate multi-tasker! Use for cereal,nuts, candies, tapas,dipping sauses, spices, baking, cooking, salt, or just display as is on a shelf or in your kitchen.
Dimensions: 3 3/4" tall, 7 1/4" wide. The birdies are approx. 3/4" in length each.
