These charming gloves are not only darn near seasonless, but they also have style versatility. They are as much at home with a lacy frock as they are a funky t-shirt and jeans.
These sweet dainties are hand knit out of a lovely blend of highland wool and alpaca, in a warm, woodsy brown - the color of coffee or dark chocolate. I finished the tops and bottoms of the gloves with varying lace stitches.
Two lengths of rich vanilla-colored lace are woven through the wrists, tied into two neat little bows. The color was hard to capture on film, but they are richer in person than they appear onscreen - an antique, French vanilla color. Really lovely against the deep chocolate! You can untie them/adjust them as you wish.
They measure 6” by 3 1/2” (15cm by 9cm), unstretched.
Hand wash cold, gently. Lay flat to dry in shade.
