The topic that inspired me this bowl is the sea, rivers and waterfalls. The intention was to convey the crystalline waters.
For this reason the entire piece is entirely shaped by hand through a plaque of white clay. By doing it, me and clay, working together, I left him to adapt slowly to form, and I adapted the piece to own natural movement of the clay. The entire exterior of the bowl is textured. the inside was glazed with various shades of blue and little gteen notes. I used several glass colors to achieve the crystalline waters of the sea. The result was this wonderful bowl. As a bit of the ocean!
Very soft to the touch, it stands out in any room decor.
