Seeing all those blooms really puts me into a Spring-y mood and makes me want to wear cute sundresses and eat Cadbury Mini Eggs.
Cadbury Mini Eggs, of course, put me into an Easter-y mood and make me think about the original zombie (O.Z.), Jesus. Call me blasphemous if you want to, but... dying and then coming back to life is kind of textbook zombie.
Aaaaaaanyway, this piece is a cheery purple zombie hand rising out of a fresh field of felt grass because... just because they're dead and rotting, zombie's don't have to be scary. It's embroidered on dove gray fabric and mounted in a wood embroidery hoop, all ready to be hung up in your home.
**speaking of Easter, I tried to do the grass in Easter grass, but it turns out that embroidering with flimsy plastic grass meant to hold plastic eggs full of jelly beans doesn't work. Who knew?
