As a result of FCC rules changes, the early ‘80’s saw a proliferation of new phones now capable of being “owned” by individuals instead of leased through the phone company. In 1980, my father in-law purchased for me a new designer phone from Stromberg-Carlson’s Swirl collection.

Positioned as “a petite, pert, perfect phone”, the Slenderet was built on the licensed Trimline phone from Western Electric, and the Swirls were all the rage in designer chic!

Mine is a model 723014-437 Chocolate Swirl rotary dial desk phone. It is fully functional, fully module, and includes the lighted dial. It will come with its original cords and a compatible wiring schematic.
