vintage TALISMAN 1930s necklace

A striking, warm-toned pendant featuring a variety of Art Deco design elements. The setting for the pendant is gilt base metal, although there are parts that are quite coppery. The pendant is shaped like a skyscraper, tapering in three levels to a pointed top. An oval cut, orange-marmalade colored glass stone is prong set with an open back at the base. Above the stone is a fan-shaped piece followed by two sets of stacked metal "rings." The overall effect is streamlined and geometric. The pendant suspends from a 12K gold fill link chain and secures with a lanyard clasp. Some wear to the metal but overall condition is outstanding.
