I made this ring as a sample for my fiancé who wanted a very wide wedding band for his big manly hand. So I know for sure that this is a perfect ring for any guys who are not comfortable wearing a girly looking ring (plus, it looks great on me as well). I added very subtle textures all around and made it thin enough for everyday wear.
The silver ring shown above is about 7-8mm wide (just over 1/4"-5/16") However, I can make adjustments to the width for your liking (for a few more $ if it is wider).
The gold filled ring is 5mm wide.
Please, note that the wide band is made out of 22 gauge (0.025"=0.65mm) thick sterling silver and since it has hammered for texture it may be slightly thinner in some parts. This thickness may not be suitable for the couples with active life styles or with hands-on jobs. I recommend thicker gauge rings, especially for wedding bands.
I offer various gauge rings: 20 gauge (0.032"=0.8mm), 18 gauge (0.04"= 1mm) or 16 gauge (0.051"=1.3mm), 14 gauge (0.64"=1.63mm) for extra fee.
Please, convo me for a reserved custom listing for any changes you want to make..
Please, leave the following info in the "message for seller" box when you check out:
1. your choice of the finish (oxidized or silver. Pls, see pictures above)
2. Less than 12 letter message, including spaces and symbols, for each ring (pls, choose lower case or capital and write it as you want it to appear on the rings. I also have a heart symbol in case you want one!)
3. the sizes of both rings
Please note the followings.
1. Unfortunately, even with my best efforts, this ring will show a noticeable seam line due to the pattern continuity and a bit of color difference between 14K gold solder (yes, I only use real 14K gold solder for the quality:) and the ring.
2. Please, note that the oxidized finish is not permanent. It is just the character of the oxidization. The 14K gold filled ring has slightly oxidized for an antique finish but it will wear out eventually as well as the oxidation on silver ring. Since both rings have texture, it will bring out more charm. However, there is a way to re-oxidize silver ring at home. please, ask me for further details.
FYI, The finish shown on the 3rd image is from an oxidized ring after it was worn for about eight months. The straight oxidized ring is black with a gunmetal sheen.

or if you want to find out quickly and don't mind to take a chance, you can go to this website for help and below are detailed instructions of how to measure your ring size.
http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/jewelbasket/ring-size-actual-chart.pdf
Please, make sure you print the page after disabling the 'FIT TO PAGE' or any scaling function of the printer!!!!! I recommend the first option even though it is a bit more work and I also strongly recommend trying more than one measuring method among the three options offered by the link. When you try option #1, make sure the paper tape goes around your finger quite tightly.
I will add an appropriate amount of room to the band, depending on its width, for your comfort. Therefore, unless you are 100% sure of your ring size, I highly recommend checking your ring size with these methods mentioned above before you place an order.
However, if your ring still doesn't fit, I will re-size the ring for free or for a small fee with a shipping fee. Please, check out my policy section for re-sizing service detail.
If you want to order more than one ring or combine with other items, please, contact me before you place an order. I will make a reserved listing just for you with a small discount.
If you want to order each ring separately or want different ring set options, please, visit my store. I have many different options!
