Vintage 1930s straw Knox Hat

Vintage 1930s straw Knox hat. The hat is oval shaped with a larger brim in the front that narrows toward the back. This hat has a chestnut brown velvet rolled ribbon. The hat is secured with an elasticized band that wraps under the hair to hold it in place.

The Knox Hat building is famous in New York City. The company was the premiere destination for turn of the century presidents and celebrities in their quest to obtain quality hats.

Interior measurement: 21"

Condition: Very good. The velvet ribbon has shifted a little but is secure. There is some wear to the ends of the ribbon.
