This pair of vintage wrenches would be the perfect rustic, industrial addition to your pad. Plop them on a bookshelf or side table and pow--instant shabby chic!
Both of these wrenches are beautifully aged with some rust, flecked paint remnants and overall gorgeous industrial charm. These are most likely mid-century (or older) and are both made of steel. Each weighs about 2-3 lbs.
The red wrench is an "Armstrong Armaloy" 1 1/8", measures about 17", and comes to a point on one end. And thanks to M.J. Kaiser, an ex-Union Ironworker, we now know that this particular tool is known as a...(wait for it)..."Wide-head Hard Erection" wrench. Excellent!
The green one, measuring about 12", is a "Stillson" adjustable wrench and is stamped "Walworth, Made in U.S.A. The tightening mechanism still works too!
