It is painted a matte black with off-white lettering. No Vinyl. Has a sealant top coat to protect it for years to come. Has been heavily distressed to give it that vintage flair. Looks very shabby chic! Great size to make a big statement in your home. Every sign might differ a little from the picture due to each sign in handpainted and distressed. The last two pictures are of a coffee brown background with the off-white lettering. Just convo me about colors.
