Opening up to St. Paul's, original oil on panel painting, 2011, 19 x 19 cm

Playing with the idea of how the old and new buildings in the City of London interact with each other. It is said that all new buildings are designed so they do not obstruct the views over the old landmarks. For some reason I reacted to that notion quite a bit and would like to learn more about the subject.

This is an oil on board painting, approximately 7.5x7.5 in (19x19 cm) large, completed in 2011 (today!), shipped without a frame in a foam lined envelope. Remember that colours may look slightly different in person, but usually for the better. Please add a few days of drying time to the date of the post for estimated delivery time.
