This was painted in watercolor on a canvas panel using a combined technique of wet-in-wet and masking. The wet-in-wet gives the "bleeding" effect where the colors blend together, while the masking (kind of like batik) keeps the paint out of the white lines. The canvas is specially treated for watercolor use and is mounted on a rigid board. Unlike most watercolors, it can be framed without glass, but tell me if you plan to do this and I will spray the surface with a protective coating.
Overall size is 18 x 24 - fits right into a standard frame. Signed on the back. Absolutely unique!
