Inspired by Alphonse Mucha's "Poetry", this warm and inviting necklace holds a secret. Much like the hidden layers of meaning in a poem, the locket is a charming mixed media delight made to hold a little secret. I've altered a 26mm silver colored base metal round pill box with a copy of the "Poetry" image under a layer of resin. Attached to the pill box in a dangling, adjustable display of gemmy gorgeousness are large, cream colored scapolite faceted pears and smaller bright orange spessartine faceted pears and hearts. The hand linked chain is made from Swarovski crystal and sterling silver, ending in a hand formed hook and eye clasp.
