This unique pen is made of wood salvaged from scraps. And of course the vintage wooden spool of thread. I got the idea when I was getting ready to destash the spools, and I thought hmmm.... that looks like the right size for a pen! And here you have it. The deep raspberry pink colored thread has been secured to prevent it unravelling on you, and the unusually patterned plum wood and cherry wood are fantastic complements to the color scheme. All our pens and similar items are hand-turned by my grandpa in his one-man shop, with a little help from me now and then. Many are unique and some are one-of-a-kind. Unless otherwise noted the pens are twist type and the "Cross" style cartridges are replaceable.
