Handwoven kitchen tea towel in turquoise (caribbean blue, algiers blue) and white twill. The towel features a plaid design which creates halftone shades of the turquoise in the fabric. 100% unmercerized cotton yarn is absorbent, which is practical for kitchen towels. Measures approximately 16" wide by 22" long. Machine stitched hemmed ends make for clean edges. The towel has been prewashed, machine dried and pressed.
I am frequently asked if I, "really weave your own fabric?" The answer is, yes, I really weave my own fabric. I have included a picture of the fabric while it is still on the loom.
This handwoven cotton towel is very easy to care for: simply toss in your washer & dryer as you would with any kitchen item. I use my handwoven dishtowels in my own kitchen; many are over 10 years old and still in use which for me, is truly eco-friendly!
This item could also be used to line your bread basket.
