Washing instructions read: Machine wash warm. Line or tumble dry. Use cool iron.
bust: 34"
waist: 17" (unstretched; will stretch to 38")
length: 42"
[Measurements are taken flat, then doubled - except for the length; for best fit, compare the measurements to a similar dress in your closet.]
This is marked a size small. I generally wear a size 8 - 10 as far as dresses go and, surprisingly, was able to put this on without a struggle but the waist doesn't hit me in the right place. (Also if I were going to wear this I'd need to let the straps out. See below.) I'd estimate this to be between a small and medium; probably comparable to a modern size 6 - 8.

The straps were taken up by the previous owner, on the back. (They're simply tucked up and restitched on the inside. They did a pretty great job too; I didn't even notice it until the second inspection.) I figured I'd leave it up to the next owner as far as whether to let the straps back out to their original length or leave them as is.
Otherwise in great vintage condition; this will arrive washed and ready to wear.
