Be the envy of your friends with this lacy, gothic mini top hat! This is the perfect addition to any gothic, fancy dress or gothic lolita outfit.
I started by creating a length of tatting in high quality black cotton thread. This was laced up at the front using a satin purple ribbon that was then finished off with a bow at the base. The tatting has been securely sewn to a mini dark purple felt top hat. To give it more of a gothic flair, I sewed a length of black lace around the brim of the hat.
This dark romantic piece features two hair clips glued securely to the base. Simply place these in the hair going from back to front and voila! a hat that stays securely in place.
The felt hat is just over 5 inches (130 mm) across and 2 inches (45 mm) high. The lace around the base goes beyond the brim so the full piece is rounghly 6 inches (154 mm) in diameter.
This hat comes in its own gift box.
