Super cool modern portrait box for those that don't pity the fool.
This is a super sweet, antique R.S. Prussia porcelain, hand painted, vanity box marked "GERMANY". Fabulous shape with a gold rim and purple flower motif.
THIS BOX HAS A SMALL CHIP on the underside lip of the top. I tried to take a picture. It is not visible from the top.
This is a medium size vanity box 4.4" diameter, 1.6" tall
Only Mr. T could make this box tough!
I have used a transfer and heat technique to seal the image into the plate.
I recommend washing by hand to preserve gold and detailing. Wonderful display item. Great alternative to traditional framed art.
