Each petal of this fanciful rose has been beaded individually with a multitude of colorful violet, lilac and purple seed beads so it recreates a flower in realistic form, but has a pearl tucked into the center to be a hidden surprise and change this into a jeweled treasure. The outside petals are fringed with beaded ruffles to add the hint of lace. There is a beaded strap to securely hold a ribbon which can be tied into a bow in the back of the neck much like they did in the era this invokes. Or a pin could be used to change this into a brooch if desired.
